Building Operative Apprentice
At the moment, I am working on a project for the construction of a harbour bath. But there are many other opportunities, and the workday is varied. There is a good teamwork on the project and a fun atmosphere. Everybody has the same interest in what we are doing, resulting in a high moral standard and high spirits. Aarsleff is taking really good care of the apprentices and makes us feel welcome and comfortable. I met Aarsleff's apprentice coordinator during the first week after I started. He is very accommodating and wants to offer his help and support. It’s nice to have someone to talk to about job satisfaction in addition to your foreman.

Office Trainee
I knew Aarsleff from when I was working as an office helper, so I had absolutely no hesitations about applying for the traineeship. Right from the beginning, I was given a warm welcome, in addition to a lot of exciting work tasks. Aarsleff is a large workplace. You see the Aarsleff logo everywhere, e.g. on flags at construction sites and on cars. It’s also a respected workplace and a workplace that people speak positively about. It's a great to be able to say, "I work there". There is room for everybody, and my colleagues are sweet and helpful, so it is a nice place to be and to learn.

Construction Operative Apprentice
At the moment, I am working on a sewer project in Stige near Odense, and even though I am the only woman on the project, I am treated exactly the same way as everyone else. There is absolutely no discrimination, and my colleagues – who include older gentlemen from Northern Jutland and Langeland – use the same jargon with me as with each other. We are a really good team that enjoys working together, and the workday flies by when everything is on track. On the project, I get to try a bit of everything within my profession – my father is a construction operative, and that's where the interest came from. I chose Aarsleff for my traineeship after having been an apprentice for a week, and I had a good impression of the company, so I am really happy with that decision.

Accounting Trainee
I have always liked working with numbers and finance. So, actually I have always known that I would like to work within finance. But I found it difficult to decide in what form. So, it turned out that Aarsleff was a perfect match. I get to see all the finance functions and I get to try all aspects of finance. From accounts and salary to accounting and controlling. As a trainee you quickly become a part of the team and get your own responsibilities. You often hear that the bigger the company you're a trainee in, the less responsibility you get. But that is not true in my case. If you are ambitious about your education and show commitment, the possibilities in Aarsleff are endless.

Construction Operative Apprentice
When I was at the basic training course, I got to try several different trades. I tried bricklayer, carpenter and construction operative, and I decided on the construction operative studies. Right now, I am in school, but before that I worked on a renovation project in Vollsmose. I worked with downpipes, paving and entrances. My favourite work is sewer work or paving work. Then I know it will be a good day. I really learn a lot during my apprenticeship at Aarsleff, and I have met a lot of nice people who are good at teaching. We have a good collaboration and community on the site. Because when we spend so many hours together, we get to know each other well and have fun together.
