About our apprentice efforts

- Focus on professional feedback and personal support

In Aarsleff, we have an overall goal that our workforce should comprise 10 percent apprentices across the entire Group.

We are well on our way towards the goal, and we are continuously working to make Aarsleff an even more attractive apprenticeship. We focus on diversity and we actively work to create an inclusive workplace where everyone has equal opportunities to develop and contribute.

To ensure that our construction operative apprentices and building operative apprentices receive both professional feedback and personal support, Aarsleff Construction has employed an apprentice coordinator with ten years of experience as a technical teacher. The apprentice coordinator is ready to provide assistance with homework and training leading up to the apprenticeship test. The apprentice coordinator also organises the annual apprentice day, when all apprentices from across the country come together for a day of both professional and social activities.

During the apprenticeship, the apprentice receives visits at school from the apprentice coordinator or the apprentice's supervisor. The visits allow us to observe the training environment, assess the apprentice’s wellbeing and if necessary, discuss the professional development with a technical teacher.

Dyslexia is no hindrance

Dyslexia is no hindrance to becoming an apprentice in Aarsleff. We make the necessary tools available if the school does not provide them. It is also possible to have extra time during the school programme, e.g. for the apprenticeship test.

We want to hold on to our talented apprentices when they have completed their apprenticeship. For this reason, we have various types of further training, so you can continue your professional and personal development after completed training.

If you have any questions or are interested in hearing more about Aarsleff as an apprentice place, please feel free to contact our apprentice coordinator.
